Just one of inkFrog’s. Antique German Slider Photo Locket Silver Charm Pendant Lucky Clover Woman. This is a lovely antique Art Nouveau sliding photo locket pendant or charm. The front and back are identical, with 4-leaf clover shapes, and a woman’s face in profile. The locket is made of brass with a heavy layer of silver. One side is in excellent condition, and the other side shows some tarnished areas, and some light scratches to the woman’s cheek. The little tabs protruding from each piece are meant to either turn the locket (top tab), or hold the piece in place (bottom tab). The bottom tab is a little short, so it does not keep the top piece from sliding in the opposite direction. The locket holds an interior round photo frame with two photos of a man and woman in period dress. All three pieces are hinged together from the suspension loop. It dates to around 1900. The overall condition is good for its age, with no dents or major scratches. There are stamps to the suspension loop, front and back of the locket, and to the tabs. I believe it is the maker’s initials, which appear to be “EM”. It measures 1 and 1/16 inches wide by 1 and 3/8 inches tall. The piece can be worn as a pendant, or attached to an antique charm bracelet. Payments are due within 5 days. Vintage Antique German Silver Charm Bracelet Enamel Lucky Clover Ladybugs. This is a wonderful vintage German lucky theme charm bracelet with 24 enameled clover and ladybug charms. The charms are all in excellent condition with no enamel loss and minimal wear. Any white spots to the enamel are camera reflections. Most of the charms are stamped with’835′ or’800′ hallmarks. All are made of Continental silver. The wearable length of the bracelet is 7 1/8″ and the width of the bracelet links is 1/4″. The link at the end of the bracelet is stamped’800. The smallest charm measures 1/4″ by 5/16″, and the largest charm (center) measures 3/4″ by 7/8″. The weight of the bracelet and charms is 26 grams. The closure of the bracelet is a sturdy and secure spring ring clasp. The charms are of German and Austrian origin. They date from the 1920’s to the 1960’s with the exception of the large central clover charm, which is antique, c. It bears an Austrian import stamp to the suspension loop, and is engraved to the reverse “Maria Enzersdorf, ” which is a town in Lower Austria. I have not polished any of the charms, as many collectors prefer the original patina. The perfect charm bracelet to wear on St. Patrick’s day, or every day for good luck!
