A very beautiful antique papier Mache bunny rabbit that is just perfect for your spring/Easter display. This little fellow was made in Germany at the start of the 1900s, around the 1910 period. He is well moulded with large erect ears, fur coat and white tipped bobtail. The head comes away to reveal the hollow body for storing your candies. Size: Height 7 3/4 inch to the tip of his ear (19.5 cm), tail to nose 6 3/4 inch (16.5 cm). Condition: Good and sound. An old hairline near the back leg. Minor surface age evidence to the papier mache. Two staples seen to the inside of the neck/head.

This baby bunny standing shows visible brushwork, gentle paint wear, and surface texture that speak to its age and handmade origins.
