VINTAGE BRUNSVIGA 10 GERMAN MADE CALCULATING MACHINE. A number on the side — 143621 — may be the serial #. Brunsviga Maschinenwerke, by Grimme, Natalis & Co. These guys made sewing machines and calculators and were extremely good at both. My father acquired this particular machine while serving in WWII in the 69 Infantry Division as the allies closed in on Germany from the west while Russia closed in from the east in the final weeks of the European Theater. Everything seems to work, although some functions seem a bit’sticky.
