All original 101 Marie by Simon Halbig/ kr. She is in perfect conduit with a gorgeous expression. Beautiful wool costume with straw hat and little purse. She is on a 5-piece jointed body with painted shoes. She is the perfect cabinet size and great for that collector who is ready to add a perfect doll to their collection.

Antique German 15 201 Kammer & Reinhardt Character Doll Rare Variation Of Marie. Very beautiful and rare doll. From what I know, she is a very rare variation of Marie. And she is wearing three layers of antique clothes (dress, full slip, and pantaloon). She also has a pair of antique boots, they are not buttoned up all the way because they are very fragile and have quite a bit of wear. From others I have seen, I do believe her body is original, but I’m not 100% sure. Her head does not have any major damage, there are a few minor wig pulls on the back. She is leaking sawdust just a tad and not really when she has her clothes on. It is coming from a small tear at one of her upper arms. This could easily be repaired. I usually just add a bit of an old piece of kid leather glove glued over the area as a patch, but if you want a more professional repair, I did not want to choose this method for you so I have let it be. Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with lower glaze, thick dark upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, closed mouth with pouting expression, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Marks: KR 101 50. Excellent condition, original body and body finish. Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, “Marie” from their art character reform series. Condition as shown, see title for more information. Please look carefully at the photos. They are a large part of the description. Never a reserve, makes it very interesting. Beautiful Marie Antoinette or Madame Pompadour Christmas ornament. She has a flesh face and arms. She has pretty long white frosted hair and holds a white frosted rose. She has a glass bodice that has a rust colored dress top with a glass pike attached to the bottom. The pike is inserted in the pretty full angel hair skirt to hold it on. Pretty brown and white angel hair skirt has tiny curls with brown over some white. Glass doll bodice is in great shape with minimal paint and silvering loss. The glass pike is extremely fragile that goes inside the skirt and many times are found broken off. Skirt is sewn in back and has a few spots of glue residue. 5 L to longest part of skirt.
