A nice pair of German porcelain figurines of peasants in the style of Italian Capodimonte. They have blue crowned N marks and date anywhere from late 19th to mid 20th century. The cobbler also has a 13 and an impressed “5” on the bottom. They measure 7 long. The woman is 7 tall. The man is 6 1/2 tall. Condition is excellent with no damage or repair. These figures often have damage, but these are very clean and well-kept.

This is an old antique pair of ornate three arm wall sconce from a high end estate. Features a decorated cartouche backplate with applied flowers and figural cherubs with hand painted flowers and insects. Measures approx 14″ by 18″. The left cherub sconce center candelabra arm has been reinforced at base with old glue. All the candelabra arms looks to have been plastered into place originally. The left candelabra arm also reinforced into place and I see a scroll tips has been repaired. The right cherub sconce below the left candelabra arm has restoration to flowers and leaves and also on the candelabra arm. These are the repairs I see studying the set. I could be missing flower chips or other minor things. Please study all photos. These are stunning and have a blue cross swords mark on back.

Rare Antique German Reich 1 Mark Silver Coin Lady Liberty Designer Pendant. This stunning pendant was hand made around 1910 in Germany and features Lady Liberty’s head “breaking through” a 1 Mark silver coin. This is both a piece of art and a political statement. Criticism towards the authorities was unwanted and dangerous and art was one means to express one’s dissatisfaction with the establishment. Having lady liberty (the word “liberty” can be read on the tiara worn by the head) breaking through the symbol of power, the Imperial Eagle, made a clear statement without using words. The method by which this pendant was created is unknown and was apparently patented as the attached plaque spelling D. R. G. M (Deutsches Reich GebrauchsMuster = German Reich Patent) shows. This rare antique piece measures 1 in diameter (without bale) and weighs 5.6 grams. The coin is 900 (90%) silver. Very good antique condition with some patina according to age which can easily be polished away if desired. The front of the face shows some wear; the piece was apparently vigorously worn! One-of-a-kind piece with a lot of history! Pendant Type: Drop pendant. Handmade during the Art Nouveau era circa 1906 in Germany. The back of the coin features the image of the crowned imperial eagle and the inscription “Deutsches Reich 1906 Zwei Mark”. The coin is held within a sterling silver frame and will need a bale attached in order to be worn. Damage: Age appropriate wear. Tarnish on the sterling silver gives this piece an antique quality which we believe is quite lovely. Originally this piece was a pin brooch; however, the pin stem was removed and there is a remnant of the “c” clasp still attached to the back of the coin. If desired, your local jeweler can remove the “c” clasp. Your local jeweler will need to add a bale to this pendant in order for it to be worn. The price has been reduced to reflect this. ANTIQUE SIMON HALBIG DOLL K star R 24 Blonde Open mouth 62 mark. This is a beautiful Simon Halbig doll with open mouth and four teeth. She is in overall very good condition – her face is beautiful – she has plump rosy cheeks. My photos show the cheeks as yellowish, they are not, it is just a reflection of the yellow color on my walls. Her body shows age appropriate condition. The clothing on this doll is beautiful – the under skirt has a bustle in the back – the dress itself is two shades of blue satin and silk-like material – great condition. I don’t know if the outfit is original – this is the way she came to me. She is clearly marked S. Imon Halbig K star R (Kammer Reinholdt). Lovely blonde mohair wig, which I believe is original, and blue eyes. She has pierced ears but no earrings. Her eyelids are rough and she is missing some eyelashes – her eyebrows feel furry.
