Antique German Bisque Doll 24 Marked 63 Wood Composition Body. Com attributes this mold to Gebruder Kuhnlenz. I could not confirm with a second source. Antique bisque head doll marked Made in Germany 63. Approximately 24 inches tall. Bisque head with brown glass sleep eyes. Painted upper and lower lashes. Additional applied fur lashes present, with some thinning and gaps. Open mouth with upper row of teeth. Antique mohair wig styled in sausage curls. Wood and composition ball jointed body. Body is tightly strung and holds most poses. Wearing a finely made modern outfit consisting of a blue silk dress with inset lace panels and decorative knit-covered buttons. Includes silk slip and silk bloomers. Lace socks and leather shoes. Clothing is modern but very well made and carefully styled. General age-related wear consistent with an antique doll. Antique German George Borgfeldt Doll 23″ Marked “Germany G. With Antique Bustle Dress. She has glass brown sleep eyes, red eyelashes, vintage red mohair wig, and composition jointed body. Her clothes are antique; Victorian bustle dress, the undergarments have been hand washed and ironed. The composition body is in good condition; the fingers are intact. Fabulous early Simon Halbig CM Bergamann early bisque, marked only #3. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Blue threaded sleep eyes function well. Retains eyelid wax and most of lashes. Wig is old mohair in ringlets, matches brows. Nice German original body with some areas of repair/repaint. Holds a pose, display ready, comes with stand. Great antique half slip and pantaloons. Vintage/antique pale yellow dotted Swiss, velvet sash. Vintage buckle front Mary Jane’s. Great early doll in very good condition.

Pretty German Bisque doll marked Pansy 3 attributed to George Borgfeldt. She is 24 tall with brown sleep eyes. There are no cracks or chips to the bisque head. She is on a German composition body with original paint and lacquer. All her fingers and toes accounted for and outlined in red. Glaze darkening in a few places around joints. She is nicely strung and holds a pose. She is wearing a vintage wig and reminds me of nell from little house on the Prarie! Her clothes consist of antique dress and chemise that were stitched on and to see her body I unstitched them so they will come pinned in back. She also has draw waist bloomers docks and shoes. Beautiful Antique Heinrich Handwerck doll with marked body. She is 17 inches tall with a nice bisque head (some wig pulls and glue residue on head rim). She has a gorgeous face with wonderful coloring and expertly painted facial features. She has lovely blue sleep eyes that work well, an open mouth with 4 upper teeth, pierce ears. Her body is in beautiful condition with its original finish and all of her fingers and toes are accounted for (with small paint peel on foot). There is light wear to the surface and at the joints. She is wearing an antique human hair wig (no pate) and comes dressed as found slip, one piece under garment and socks (socks have a few holes). Stringing is good for her age, and she can hold a pose. Her head is incised Germany Heinrich Handwerck Halbig with the number 1 at the bottom. Her body is stamped in red letters in a foreign language. Not sure what it says. This lot of antique German bisque porcelain doll heads is a must-have for any collector, doll repair, or enthusiast. The set includes 12 heads, 3 of which have glass eyes and 5 of which are marked. The heads are in a beige and white colors and have a light complexion. These porcelain doll heads are handmade and original, some dating back to the pre-1900 time period. They are perfect for those who appreciate vintage and antique items. The set is a great addition to any doll making and repair collection and would make a wonderful display piece. All are from Germany. No chips or cracks, some just need cleaned up. The markings are as follows. Germany 11/SM or 5M. Germany 129 or 12g. There appear to maybe be some markings.
