This beautiful 16 doll is from my personal collection. This antique German doll was made by Heinrich Handwerck in the early 1900’s. Marked 109 – 7 1/2, H, 1. On back of head. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Brown glass sleep eyes. Original golden reddish brown mohair wig – cap has been reinforced. Antique doll’s barrette on wig. The excellent condition original Handwerck ball-jointed composition body has no repainting and very minimal signs of gentle use. She is dressed in an antique doll’s dress, slip, and pantaloons – all trimmed with lace. White bonnet trimmed with lace (new). Vintage black German-doll-style shoes. The stand is not included. Antique German Bisque Head Doll – Marked “21 Germany” A charming antique German bisque head doll dating to the early 1900s, featuring classic craftsmanship and beautiful display presence. This piece was acquired from a loving doll collector’s estate, where it had been carefully displayed and appreciated for many years. The bisque head is marked “21 Germany” on the back of the neck and shows finely painted facial details, including softly blushed cheeks, defined brows, and an open mouth with visible teeth. The doll has fixed glass eyes (non-sleeping) that give it a lifelike expression. A vintage mohair-style wig remains in place and is styled beneath a delicate floral headpiece. She is dressed in a soft cream-toned outfit that appears to be original to the doll. The dress is fragile with visible aging consistent with antique textiles and has not been removed, helping preserve its integrity. The layered skirt, ribbon sash, and floral accents create a lovely period display look. The composition body features jointed limbs with visible wire connections, likely from age or prior restringing. Antique German Bing bear. He measures 23 tall. His rust colored mohair is a much harder color to find and referred to as being quite rare. He shows play wear in various areas and has been loved through the years. His long arms, pronounced hump and big nose gives him that great German Bing look. Large 25 German Bear is really special. It getting so hard to find these very large bears. He has a well presented large hump on his back, and a long nose. He is good preowned condition, normal play wear. Early shoe button eyes with a beautiful expression.. He will display beautifully in any collection.
