Up for sale is a BEAUTIFUL antique pair of German bisque porcelain figurines of man and woman holding doves. This STUNNING pair stands approximately 12.5 inches tall and approximately 4.5 inches wide. They are dressed in victorian outfits in pastel colors. The lovely woman is wearing a pastle dress in blue, lavender and floral with raised paste gold dot accents. She has a beautiful bonnet. She is holding dove on her arm. The HANDSOME gentleman is wearing a pastel outfit matching the womans and has raised paste gold dots throughout. He has a dove on his arm. This pair is in AMAZING CONDITION. This stunning piece stands an impressive 9 inches tall and approximately 6.5 inches wide. She is wearing an all ruffled lace dress in pink and cream with a dark purple bodice with gold accents and tiny delicate applied porcelain flowers scattered throughout her dress. She has an off the shoulder STUNNING ruffled lace neckline on her dress. She has brown hair pulled up in a bun with a gold crown and little flowers on one side. She has PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. She is holding a BEAUTIFUL fan in one hand. The fan is painted with roses. She is standing on a base with several applied porcelain flowers. This figurine is made of solid porcelain and porcelain lace. This piece has the Volkstedt mark on the back of the base and also the letters KM incisedabove the mark. It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION!! I personally do not see any chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has so many beautiful ruffles that it is hard to see each one. PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision. OUTSTANDING ANTIQUE DOLL -‘ADMIRAL DEWEY. ALL ORIGINAL – By Cuno & Otto Dressel – – Circa: 1896 on. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Seldom seen and wonderful character antique bisque doll – “Admiral Dewey”. This all original character doll is 8 1/4 inches tall. For price reference see page #192 in the book,’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. He has a closed mouth and a socket head. I cannot find any hairlines or cracks. His facial painting is wonderful. His outfit is all original including his sword. When you do see this doll; the sword is usually missing.
