Here we have one of several items added today. As images show it is a small scale set of dinner wares made from soft metal with serviettes. It is presented in a fall flap card box decorated as a picnic hamper with elastic and metal fasteners. The interior is strung to hold the various items, one section of stringing is broken, the set is complete. It measures 5″ long by 3″ wide. There is some old mesh tape holding the lid and base together. Please see all images for detail.

Bought from a dealer in France – a fabulous mignonette in all original clothes in an original, ornate silk egg with antique accessories. The doll is so beautiful! 4 tall and with a sweet face and gorgeous outfit. I have not undressed her because her clothes are sewn on, but her bisque appears to be in good condition overall. There might be an old, very well done repair to her right foot. I cannot tell completely. Look at the details on her dress and hat! They are just fabulous. She comes with a little wire metal basket with antique flowers, a satchel that has three antique diecut miniature calling cards, and a putz sheep. Please note the sheep is not in the best condition and the bow on him has been replaced. Her egg is equally fabulous. I do believe it is 100% original to her. Please know there is some staining to the silk, but it is in still pretty good condition for the age. It measures about 7 long. A wonderful collection of a doll and her treasures. This is a wonderful doll by a very famous doll maker and has that Café au lait complexion. Please peruse all of the photos as they are huge part of my description. This wonderful, fully marked on the back of her head, S& H 1009 doll stands just 12 tall but she has such presence and personality. There are no cracks or chips to her head. The only problem is that someone who owned her really plastered the glue on her head. I have tried to take part of the glue and wig residue off but I will leave it to someone else for fear of removing her paint. Please note this in the photo of her head and this glue etc even shows up when I light her head. All of it is on the outside not the inside of her head, again the photos. A little discoloration/rubs on her face. Her other problem is that she needs to be restrung. Her stringing is really. Really loose and she cannot hold a pose. Her legs will go backwards if you are just holding her. If she is on a doll stand then she is fine. Since I had her in a carriage with other dolls, her loose stringing did not bother me. Again, will leave it to her new owner. Her body is much darker than her head. She has some missing paint, the usual scrapes etc that come with a doll that has been played with. Miss 1009 is a very cute, sweet doll with a face that always makes me smile. Again, the photos:. She wears her ORIGINAL Presentation/Factory dress that is so adorable. It is cotton and has those wonderful white and blue stripes. She also comes with her ORIGINAL button on factory made “union” suit that is also pictured. There is a half slip, a wig of sorts, older sock and shoes to complete her outfit. See photo of this doll. This is a beautiful doll looking for a new wonderful home:- I will miss her but it is time. Her head will be packed and diapered. She will be wrapped In bubble wrap and will packed plus she will be insured:. The starting price does not reflect what I feel is the value of this doll. It is merely a starting point. You expect me to be honest in my description so I will be honest in the cost of the doll. This all original, pristine antique presentation boxed set for the French market is truly a rarity! At the center, a darling, tiny Simon Halbig doll is bedecked in a pale robin’s egg blue frock trimmed with Valenciennes lace and broderie Anglaise. Underneath she dons a slip and pantaloons with lacy edges. She wears silk crochet lace stockings and little black leather shoes. Her silky strawberry blonde mohair wig is of the finest quality. She has stationery brown glass eyes fringed with delicately painted upper and lower lashes. Her fine quality bisque is accentuated with rosy pink cheeks and peachy cupid’s bow lips. Her tiny mouth has four little teeth. Her trousseau includes 17 precious pieces of couture that includes dresses, pin tucked tops and skirts, hats/bonnets, jacket, lingerie & lingerie bag, stockings and kerchiefs. All are in fantastic condition and trimmed with lace and blue silk bows! The detail is astonishing! The presentation box itself is sturdy, Valenciennes lace edged, with tiny blue silk bows and polka dotted wrapping. It has a fitted glass lid to keep everything safe. The set is extremely clean and well cared for. No odors, and clothing items have never been removed from the box – sewn in place. Rarely does an example like this come along.
