Here we have a fab vintage West German pottery lamp base. I have been unable to find out who made this but have seen many similar ones by Scheurich. Either way it’s a lovely piece made somewhere around the 60’s or 70’s. It has a nice dripglaze which is like a fat lava style but it isn’t “bubbling”. Nice brown colours on a white background makes for a nice neutral piece in your home. It measures approximately 10.25 inches tall to the top of the bulb holder by 8 inches so it’s a decent size. It comes with approximately 1.5m of cable. It has a fabulous look – perfect for the lover of the 60’s/70’s, West German pottery or the contemporary home.
