Her beautiful deep blue glass eyes are framed with dark lashes. Her body is in excellent condition. Her lovely long dress is fragile, so I didn’t want to remove it. She has a crier that is not functioning. Her gown is vintage with a slip, undershirt, diaper and booties. Her pink silk bonnet has fragile, repaired ribbon ties. This little toddler is marked on the back of her head in a heart BSW and at the base of her neck the number 2097. She measures approximately 19 inches tall. She is an excellent condition. Her head is bisque with no hairlines chips or cracks. She has blue eyes and all of her original eyelashes, along with her painted eyelashes. She has beautiful rosie cheeks, two teeth and a sweet little blonde wig that looks adorable on her. The composition body is in wonderful condition with only a tiny crack in her big toe. Absolutely beautiful and hard-to-find Franz Schmidt 1294 toddler doll. She is very large, lifelike, and wonderfully detailed girl. The eyes are in working condition, with some wear to the eyelashes. The wig and pate are original; the wig is partially still glued. It shows some wear. The bisque head is in great condition with no damage. There is a line on the back of the head, which is a production paint flaw – not a hairline or a crack. The body is possibly has been repainted and shows paint wear. There is a repair to the left foot. The crier is not working, possibly missing. The doll has good stringing and poses well. She is dressed as shown. Her beautiful silk dress has small flaws, including some tiny holes. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

This listing is for a beautiful antique German bisque head doll. Her head is marked S & C (Franz Schmidt) with the number 68 at bottom base of neck. She is a nice size and stands 28 tall. She has a nice blonde human hair wig with pate. Blue sleepy eyes that work well. Upper and lower painted lashes with feathered brows. She has a breather nose and a open mouth with teeth. A small dimple in her chin. Great rosy coloring on face. She is on a good sturdy body. It does have prior repairs, please see all pictures. She is wearing a white undergarments with a white cotton dress. A lace head piece with red bows. A pretty brooch which has red and white flowers. Red and white socks with black shoes. Box will be insured.

Wonderful antique 15 German bisque doll with composition body made by Bruno Schmidt. Back of the head is marked: 6 BSW 2097-4. She has working sleep eyes and open mouth with teeth. Her wig is made of mohair. CONDITION : There is a crack on the back of the head (see images #14-16). The crack doesn’t appear to have completely gone to edge of the rim on the right side – I also looked on the inside and only one side of the crack shows through. The composition body looks like might have been repainted or sanded down because it have a matte finish texture to it instead of the usual glossy finish. There are some hairline cracks to the composition on her left lower leg and left forearm. Her feet have some damage.

Here is a cute antique German bisque character baby by Franz Schmidt mold 1272. His bisque head is on a composition bent limb baby body. He has open/close blue eyes, an open mouth, two upper teeth and felt tongue, and hole in both nostrils. Nice facial coloring with painted upper and lower lashes and painted brown hair. His body is in great shape and I believe has been repainted/restored or may even be a newer body. He is 24 inches tall good stringing.
