Shin length of dress, old snaps, and buckle shoes suggest 1920s. Arms are detaching from body–otherwise good condition for its age! Shoes w little buckles are great! Black glass bead necklace! Jointed hips and knees! Some paint loss in hair; rip in stockings on one leg, some lace is lightly ripped. Smoke free home in Oregon. Antique German bisque doll by Kestner. Bisque socket head is marked with: 168 14 Made in Germany 5. Working glass sleep eyes with painted upper and lower lashes with multi-stroke painted and molded eyebrows above. Open mouth with four molded square teeth. Ball jointed composition and wood body. She is wearing a very nice replacement dress with pretty laces. Button and loop closures at the back, matching hat, antique eyelet pantaloons, replacement vintage wig, pate, replacement cotton knit socks and antique oil cloth shoes. She is from a long time collector’s estate where she resided for decades in a beautifully appointed doll room. She would be lovely in your home! Very good condition with no hairlines or chips, Tiny paint miss at one eye brow as shown, kiln specks, body wear and some retouch paint to body, Clothing mostly good with tiny holes or tiny stains possible, hair could use some refresh, clean, odor free, smoke free business, no doll stand, no other accessories. The purple garment is rather ragged and hat is OK. Everything is the way we acquired the set and comes as is. These porcelain and plastic baby and child figures are in very good condition with Movable arms. Two have Movable legs. One figure’s arms are detached. Gorgeous 5 all bisque German made Mignonette (Possibly by Simon & Halbig) for the French market. She is redressed in a fabulous little green silk dress and hat with a long, luxurious blonde mohair wig. She also comes with her original pink dress, hat and tight curly brown wig. I have redressed her because her original pink Gibson girl style dress had significant wear and staining that I could not get out. It was removed carefully from the doll with a seam ripper as it was sewn on. If you would ever want to redress her in it, it would have to be carefully sewn back on her. Please note that she has a repair to her left leg above the ankle that isnt very noticeable unless you are looking for it. There is either a chip or a mold flaw to her upper back where the neck socket is. Her right arm has some original small flaws to the bisque. Small dot on the tip of her nose and a small mold flaw near the top of the forehead. This is the second little doll like this Ive had for sale in the past couple weeks.
