Pretty doll with working sleepy eyes. She is missing eyelashes and has no painted upper eyelashes. The head is in great condition with no damage. There is a flaw on the back of the head that appears to be a production defect. No hairlines, cracks, or chips to the bisque. The doll is coming with the original wig and plaster pate. The wig is worn, yet remains in displayable condition. The body shows typical wear, including repairs. There is no leaking to the body itself; however, there is occasional light leaking coming from the openings where the arms connect to the torso. Small imperfections to the hands. This doll is truly beautiful, though, unfortunately, the shoulder plate is damaged, with additional damage visible on the back of the neck and possibly the back of the head. All damage is clearly shown on the photos. The face remains in good condition. She comes with a glued-on wig, possibly original to the doll. The body shows wear and appears to be a vintage replacement. The lower china arms are in great condition. The lady comes with pantalons, and both the body and the pantalons show staining. Her beautiful antique dress is in overall good condition, with a tear at the front and other wear visible in the photos. No stockings or shoes are included. A vintage hat is included. The boy is very beautiful – a pretty rare doll that is also well preserved. The body appears to be original and shows no leaking. Unfortunately, this beautiful, hard-to-find doll is damaged. There is a missing piece to the back of her shoulder plate. The doll has no other damage. Some paint wear is present on the back of the head. The shoulder plate is attached to an antique cloth body filled with horse hair. The arms show wear, which is visible in the photos. There are also some repairs to the body. The pantaloons are sewn at the back and were not removed, but the lower part of the body appears to be in good shape. The doll is dressed as shown. This beauty has stationary eyes and closed mouth. The doll is marked on the bottom back of the shoulder plate. We are not sure the second part of the numbers is 28, as it is hard to read the marking that is covered by the leather. The bisque is in overall good condition, yet there are small flakes to the holes of the eras. Ho other flaws to the head. The wig of the doll is a replacement. The body is nicely preserved, but there are some repairs/glued areas. There is no leaking to the doll. Bisque lower arms have small production defects, but have no damage. From the A S Oaks estate comes this Rare 16 German collaboration between wagner and Zetsche and Gebruder Heubach. The head bares both marks as well as her mold # 10566 up by the crown. There are no cracks or chips to the bisque head. She has blue sleep eyes and her original mohair wig. Research shows Wagner and Zetsche made the bodies for Gebruder Heubach and this is typical of the body of Heubach with composition lower arms and legs. There is a crack or repair to left foot. She is wearing a very pretty blue dress with white trim and a full slip and bloomers. These clothes are newer but appropriate. She has antique socks and vintage shoes. From the Hamel estate comes a beautiful 22 Simon Halbig shoulderhead doll with pink kid Body. She is marked SH 10 below the edge of the kid body. She has the most incredible blue set eyes and pierced ears. She really looks like she is smiling. She also has original pate and wig. Her arms are strung and jointed at elbow with the prettiest bisque lower arms and fingers. There are no chips or cracks to head but possible professional repair to right wrist. The legs have pin joint at hips and knees. There is a band of pink kid around her right ankle that looks solid. There is no leaking sawdust. What a beautiful doll. She is wearing antique bloomers and a floral cotton dress with lace trim. She also has vintage socks and leather boots plus the perfect antique red spring hat for Easter.
