Wonderful Antique German Cotton’Skiing’ Santa with Embossed Diecut Face and Applied Red Buttons. Santa holds White Milk Glass Poles and Crinkle Wire-Wrapped Frosted Skis. Cotton has remnants of mica flakes. Santa leans slightly back. Figure measures 4.5 tall. Overall excellent antique condition. Guaranteed old & genuine. Offering an antique Heubach Christmas ornament of a cotton batting body girl on skis. The maker is unknown although looks like it could be a Heubach, although I can’t be certain since I have never actually seen a Heubach in person. She has a beautiful bisque face and a cotton batting body blue pants, white shirt. Her blonde hair is peeking out from under her cotton hat. She has only one ski pole in her right hand the slopes must have been ruff as she has lost her left pole. Her skis are made of wood, and one is marked Germany on the bottom. She measures 4 tall. A real find for the avid Christmas collector. Please see my other listings as I have several other great pieces from the same estate sale. Beautiful and sweet little spun cotton painted face skier girl figurine. 2.5″ tall and 2.5″ long. A very faint stamp is on the bottom of one of her skis – I think it says “Germany”. Blue and white spun cotton. Gold crepe paper skirt. She stands very well on his own. As found, fresh from a Baltimore estate. Antique German Heubach bisque doll on skis Christmas candy container. Stamped Germany on one ski, has a bisque head and hands. The doll is dressed in the original outfit with a scarf and hat with a pom pom on top. Condition is good with the following issues: The left ski has a crack behind the foot but is solid and sturdy, there may be a tiny flake of missing bisque on the middle fingernail of the right hand.
