This is on e of those marbles you don’t see very often. I wrote the pamphlet “The Sulphide Marlble – A Handbook” in 1985 and this marble encompasses everything you’d want to see in a Sulphide marble. It’s huge (2 1/8 inches with a caliper), has wrinkles resulting from not being polished and a nice insertion mark showing how the sulphide was inserted. It is a PERFECT example of the Sulphide Marble. If you have a question or need another photo, just ask.

The glass on this marble is remarkably clear for the age! There are several large chips. Cold roll lines where object was inserted. Importantly this marble appears to be UNPOLISHED. Two air bubbles inside the marble: One around the frog figurine itself and one below it.
