10 GERMAN ANTIQUE 1910S EARLY BING MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR. Antique, early Bing Teddy Bear is in very good condition. Teddy is 10 tall, is fully jointed, stuffed with excelsior, has thinned mohair and long arms. His eyes are original black shoe button and he retains his black nose, mouth and 5 claw stitching on each paw. He has felt paw pads, two have repairs and bottom left has tiny spots showing excelsior. The excelsior in his arm has settled. His side squeaker is non-working. Please review all photos as they serve as part of the description. 25 ANTIQUE 1930s GERMAN ORANGE ARTIFICIAL SILK TEDDY BEAR (one of two brothers). German antique 1930s teddy bear is in very good condition. Comes in a custom matching outfit like his bother’s who is available separately. Teddy is 25 tall, fully jointed, is stuffed excelsior with orange artificial silk fur. His eyes are original amber and has a large velveteen muzzle with black stitched nose and mouth. There are three black stitched claws on each paw. Paw pads are the fabric beneath what we’re velveteen pads and show some staining and display dusting. He has a non-working growler. Please review all photos as they serve as part of the description. This stunning old German vintage mohair teddy bear dates from sometime around 1920 from Germany and is a superb example of Teddy Bears from Germany of this period. He is firmly stuffed with wood wool (excelsior), made of wonderful mohair. His nose and mouth stitches are embroidered with black wool yarn and he has pale back painted glass eyes. All five disk joints are working although his arms and legs are a little slack, and his growler rattles when tipped but is not in working order. Condition is very good for this age of bear. His pads are replaced and mohair in places. (Please inspect photos) Otherwise he has approximately 75% of his mohair remaining. Claws are missing on upper and lower pads. He has no musty of unpleasant odors and is very clean. Measures approximately 40 cm in height. THIS CHARMING ANTIQUE BEAR DISPLAYS VERY WELL & WOULD BE A DELIGHTFUL ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION. Antique Vintage Large Early Petz German Mohair Teddy Bear 22. Great old bear, German gold blonde all jointed humpback mohair teddy. Has original glass eyes, black handstitched nose and original linen paws. There is writing on the foot pads but must be in German. One could be a date, just not sure. Squeaker no longer works and her head is a bit wobbly also a bit dirty. Will come as shown with dress and scarf. This bear came all the way from Germany! Dates to about the 1930’s. Remember vintage items will usually not look new and may show signs of a mysterious past life, may have expected minor and/or unseen or inside imperfections not listed. Item history is unknown to me. It is probable that it has been washed or altered.
