Welcome to A Century of Dolls New York. This is this a superb example of a large 15 Frozen Charlie with desirable pink tint face with deeply molded facial features with painted hair wisps. This Frozen Charlie sometimes referred to as Bath Baby Dolls has a China porcelain body with detailed eye painting. Made in Germany it has the rarer brown eyes and the wonderful wisps of hair with detailed brushstrokes. This all bisque Bath Baby Frozen Charlie doll is in excellent condition, he has no touch ups or breaks or cracks. A wonderful example for your collection. Do not use in the Bath he would sink he is to heavy?? Please see the Zoom Photos. He is a superb example.

Very beautiful all original doll! The doll is fragile as her body is filled with sawdust and her antique clothes. We didn’t remove them completely to prevent any damage to the doll or her clothes. The head of the doll is free of damage. It has just light paint wear and some production defects that can be seen on the photos. From what is possible to see without removing the clothes, the right hand of the doll is damaged and glued. Some repair to the left arm. Both feet of the doll feel damaged. The lace on the feet is glued and looks like a part of the repair. No leaking to the doll from what is visible. The dress has some discoloration and holes, yet it is still very pretty. Some wear to the underwear. Please refer to the pictures for more details. No stand or the chair are included.

Lovely and high quality antique pink tint china doll head on fabulously charming antique body with antique dress. Her head is in good condition and is so pretty. She has a small beauty mark under her one eye but is in overall good shape. The body and dress are fabulous and have a primitive feel. Tiny leather hands and boots. Her body is filled with old rag. Very fine quality exquisite Civil War Era German China Doll Head with fancy hairstyle. Measures 2.9 high and 2.25 across the shoulders. Please note that there is a chip in the area of the bottom left hole on the shoulderplate and a fine hairline that extends from the other end of the hole up through the chest area, over the neck and down the other side.
