Antique German Porcelain Frog and Monkey Fairing Trinket Dish Circa 1870. Very unique and fun trinket dish depicting a monkey pulling a frogs leg as they sit on either side of a seashell that has a soft ink accent inside. A fairing was an early prize/souvenir at fairs in England. Please see photos for the incredible detail and also the flaws. There is a small chip on the shell near the frogs right knee, two of the frogs toe tips are missing, there is wear to the gold paint on the top front of the shell.
