1880 German Bisque 17.5 Hertwig Parian Turn head BONNET HEAD DOLL. This 17.5 inch bisque shoulder head doll was manufactured in Germany by Hertwig & Company circa the late 19th or early 20th century. The 4.5 inch tall head has molded and painted facial features, blonde hair, a blue tie under her chin, and a white molded parian bisque straw bonnet decorated with white molded laces. The cloth body, with china lower arms and jointed at the shoulders, hips, and knees, is older and may be original to the doll, clean, and sturdy has few small repairs. The head is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The doll wears white cotton lace trimmed pantaloons, slip and an old blue cotton print dress with lace trim to match her molded ribbons. Gorgeous doll and ready to display!
