Antique German Wired Glass Bird in a Nest on Coil Clip Christmas Ornament. Learning to let go from my personal collection. A colorful songbird with spun glass tail nestled in cotton on a wired white glass nest. Coiled wire springless clip. I’d estimate age at the 1930s judging from the clip. The clip could be adjusted, I always would give it a good squeeze to the branch to make it hold tight. Glass is intact with a small oxidation spot at the back of the nest (shown).
