Authentic Santa in Paper Maché. This comes from an old store stock and is therefore unused. He is in mint condition. The bottom takes of for the purpose of filling for the children with sweets / chocolate. 7.48 inch or 19 cm high. 3.15 inch or 8 cm wide. 2.36 or 6 cm deep. Since years I go twice a year to Germany to an old store that is closed for decades, the shop just shut the door and everything is still there like it was open. I go to the owner asking / begging to sell me some candy containers. Always was the answer no I don’t sell. So I went away but kept on trying. The last time I tried again…. The lady is now in her 90’s and this time she said yes… Omg I did a happy dance! She would sell me some candy containers… I did a happy dance. I’ve closed my eyes and opened my wallet ;. THIS IS A DELIGHTFUL VINTAGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SMALL WHITE BEAR ON A WOODEN SWING CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT WITH A TWISTED METAL LOOP TO HANG ON TREE. BEAR IS A COMPOSITE OF SAWDUST WITH OFF WHITE SPUN COTTON COVERING. BLACK PAINTED NOSE AND EYES HE MEASURES APPROX. THERE IS A SPRIG OF FEATHER TREE GREENERY ON WIRE LOOP. WOODEN SWING IS PAINTED A METALLIC GOLD. MADE IN GERMANY BUT UNMARKED. Great condition- no chips or breakage. They measure 5″ to 5-1/8″. These were acquired from a Christmas collector who is 99! She acquired them from a neighbor in the 1940s who brought them over from Germany in the early 1900s! She recently moved in with her daughter and I acquired her whole collection. She told me they did a whole live 6′ tree with icicles- and I have them all- over 250 plus! Thanks for stopping by! Photos have been taken in natural and artificial light. Here is a great hard to find vintage antique Bimini art glass faden glas bug insect ornament figurine perfume bottle. We saw the other one sell and knew we had this one. It has been packed away for over 30 years and we have never displayed it so we thought we might as well list it for another collector. It still has its original violet label on it. It is missing one antenna and it has what looks to be a small line running about 1/4 in on one wing -one of the pics has it circled. Please see our other listings. Here we have a very, very rare vintage (circa 1970s-80s) 6 Koestel wax figurine ornament from their Folkloric line, a big-eyed (for Koestel wax figurines, anyway) child (could be girl or boy) clown. They are dressed in a gold brocade tunic over light green velvet pants and a clown hat with a green ball at the end. They hold several stems of gold flowers, and have green wax feet — quite unusual to have wax parts in any color other than creamy white. Please see photos with rulers. Condition : Our photographs reveal the condition best — please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. Minty — very clean and very fresh with no signs of use. Hard to believe for an unboxed 40-50 year-old item, but true. No soiling or aging of any of the materials. Beautiful, quality piece for your collection. Here for sale is a set of 12 antique feather tree ornaments. The set dates to the 1930s to early 1940s Era and is fresh from an estate of a local collector. Skillfully crafted in Germany from shimmering, mouth-blown mercury glass with steel caps for hanging. The applied gel paint in brilliant, eye catching hues. Included in this set are an excellent variety of designs and styles, with gleaming reflective indent of two of the ornaments. These ornaments measure two and two and one half inches in height. The ornaments are in excellent condition. They show minimal signs of age, use and storage. The storage box is in vintage condition as well with signs of age. This is to be expected consider its age. Antique 19th century Dresden gold embossed german Valentine’s candy container box with a wonderful and unusual sewn pillow like top that reads” FORGET ME NOT” with flowers surrounding it. The piece has a heavy like rope along the border of the pillow. The case, when opened, reveals a small vanity mirror and has intricate cardboard paper trim along the mirror and silk arms to open the box. Has a wonderful array of colors from pink, green, and yellow. The outside of the box is heavily embossed with dark gold, and the side trim is also beautifully inlaid with gold flowers throughout. I have never seen anything like this before in any book, and as I previously mentioned, it is so unique, especially with the elaborate top lid. It’s just a really exceptional example of an early German candy container box that I highly doubt you will find another example like it. The box measures approximately 4.25″ in length and 2.75″ in width and 1.50 in height. Overall condition: Has some minor corner bends on a few corners as shown. Has some minor paper loss to the back top edge where the top lid opens. Mirror has spotting as shown, but much of this is just simply age related wear as it’s an incredible survivor, considering it is made of a heavy cardboard and just a very delicate piece in nature.
