Here are TWO old Cameras, from the 1930’s to 1950’s I think — Both made in Germany— one is a Zeiss Ikon Nettar, # 517/16— a 120 film 6x6cm camera with a Novar Anastigmat lens and Vario shutter. The other is a 35mm camera— and Agfa Silette with Apotar lens and Proto shutter. Great pieces for a collection or decor and possibly to use— not much wrong with them! I’m no expert on these cameras but with some rudimentary examining, I can tell you this—- structurally, they are all nice and solid—no broken or missing parts that I can see, and just have a little light wear from age & use— I’ll try to specify. The Nettar looks Excellent— barely any light age wear & tear— none too bad at all. It opens/closes snappily, the bellows looks great and the shutter fires well. The lens glass is basically clear— no seperation or bad fog, but there is a faint, transparent blemish on the front surface. And some of the silkscreen names on the leather are getting weak. The Agfa is very nice too— there’s some general dulling of some of the white metal parts, a couple of light scuffs to the black paint trim, but nothing broken that I see. Mechanically, the shutter cocks & fires at the different speeds… They sound different and good. The lens glass looks great and the winding and other body functions are all fine. So overall, they are in Very Nice general condition… But i t is unknown how well they may be to actually Use though— they have not been tested extensively beyond what I describe and what is shown in the photos. They are afterall 70+ years old and I may have also missed some details— so please don’t expect them to be like new. But they are definitely in nice collectible condition considering their ages and wear and tear. Assume they are NOT New or Perfect— but they are pretty Nice. What you see is what you’ll get— the actual items for sale are pictured… Please examine the photos. It will be packed well and safe. I’m not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you. I’m not into having things go back and forth based on Opinion, or risk “part swapping” either. I sell OLD, Used items and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can’t describe every every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a couple specs of dust that I failed to mention… But they would hardly diminish it… Unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect and Like New.
