ANTIQUE KESTNER 167 BISQUE HEAD DOLL With COMPO BJB AS IS DAMAGE
This is a beautiful 24 inch bisque head doll with a ball jointed composition body. Her head has a hairline crack above the left eye and extending through the eyebrow. The previous owner attempted a repair and painted over it. They also set the eyes and used a very strong adhesive to secure the pate. She has lovely hand painted features with painted upper and lower lashes. She has brown eyes and her original brunette wig with bangs and soft curls. Her composition body is in very good condition and is marked Germany. She is dressed in a lovely factory original lavender dress with lace trim. Underneath she wears new socks, vintage pantaloons and a vintage slip. Her black shoes are new. I have added a sweet antique silk hat with netting and tiny rosettes. Stand is not included.
