Simon and Halbig – Antique Lady Flapper Doll- Circa 1920. #1159 – Height approx- 13tall with blue glass sleep eyes, painted feathered lashes, fly away brows and accented nostrils, open mouth with 4 teeth and brunette bobbed mohair wig. Fully jointed composition body with original finish, slender limbs, legs jointed above knee, feet slanted for high heels – no joints in arms. The dress is made of a beaded antique material with silk under wear; teddie and slip, silk stockings and hi-healed shoes and beaded bag to match. This doll is in excellent condition. There is no damage to the bisque, no breaks, cracks, or chips. The body has its original finish. The hands and fingers are in perfect condition. Tiny indentation (see picture)in composite on back body near neck. This antique doll is in very good condition for age. The beading on dress and bag show wear and beading is unraveling in some areas.
