Antique Kestner 129 Bisque Socket Head 18 Child
A beautiful doll with a smooth creamy bisque, no cracks or chips. There is a tiny, very light scratch on nose, not a hair line as it has been black lighted. From Kestner’s 100 series where they first made porcelain teeth for their dolls. Brown sleep eyes, full, strawberry blonde human hair wig and original plaster pate where 1/4 of it has broken off and been replaced with a wood piece. Factory finish to her composition body with the exception of her replaced, repainted hands. Right foot has been glued together and the large toe has been glued on the right foot. Antique dress, 2 antique half slips and lace trim bloomers, nylon stockings, no shoes. Back of head is incised “Made in Germany G 11 129″.
