Antique 27 German Closed Mouth Kestner
At first, I thought she was a Jumeau but having someone tell me (with more knowledge than I), I did further research and found out I was wrong and she was right. She is one of the nicest dolls in my collection having no cracks, repairs, or chips to her head. Her head is marked 16. She is closed mouth, has slant cut brown sleep eyes, wax intact on eyes as shown by picture, cork pate and brown mohair wig. She has a composition body that is in mint condition. She has straight wrists. She is dressed in a maroon and beige silk two piece dress that was completely made by hand. She has old stockings and adorable old black shoes.
