Antique Beautiful Jumeau 29 French Doll. The only marks on back of head is DEP 13. DEP is on back of head and number 13 on upper neck. Doll has a Large Chunky French Body with no repaint. The bottoms of the dolls feet are incised with the number 13, showing this is original matching body. The doll body’s arms are wood and upper parts of legs are wood also. Typical for French dolls. She has beautiful blue sleep eyes that work smoothly. Doll comes with her original wig, original pate, Beautiful dark antique bonnet , antique clothing and under clothes with antique peach colored silk shoes that show wear but still look good. He called this a Jumeau doll based on matching French body. Early DEP heads were French while later ones were made for the Jumeau factory by Simon & Halbig. This is an early version.
