ANTIQUE BISQUE Character Baby Doll HERTEL SCHWAB 152-6. The doll is believed to have been made by Hertel Schwab. Hertel Schwab was in business from 1910 to 1930 and it was founded by August Herteland and Heinrich Schwab. The composition body is jointed at the legs and shoulders. Wearing white (slightly yellowed) christening dress and pretty lace bonnet are worn by this baby doll. This beautiful doll would make a great addition to any antique doll collection! Head appears to be free of damage except for a slight white spot on her right cheek. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos. Measures approximately 15 inches long. Beautiful blue glass sleepy eyes, painted upper and lower lashes. Open mouth with four upper teeth and a tongue. Head is incised with: 152 6. Antique five-piece composition baby body.
