Rare and unusual doll. No arms or legs. Body is dressed in yellow silk with possibly black silk and yellow silk string trim and yellow balls and a darkened ochra felt hat with a fuzzy ball attached as if a jester doll. It is attached to a stick that will rotate and ring music but not continually. Very good condition for its age which is estimated to be late 1800’s. Could use a cleaning but I have little attempted other than water and cotton ball. Ordinary aging of the color. There are a few defects which consist of a chip behind the right ear followed by an ordinary crack of the bisque on the right side from ear extending under the chin and a spot on the front where the ball has pulled its attached yellow strings loose. Blonde with dark blue, grey eyes. Stamped on the back of the neck 3200 with another small crack through it. There is another stamping which I cannot make out that extends under the clothing which is glued on and I did not want to loosen it risking damage just to read the stamping.
