This is Imperial German infantryman helmet. The crest of arms is from Bavaria where the battalion would have been from. I believe this helmet would have been from around 1915/1916 based on the style and materials. The front visor is made of leather and is lightly detaching from the main helmet. The main helmet appears to be a hard plastic (not leather). The pickelhaube is in good condition as is the rest of the metal parts on the helmet. It has a leather insert for comfort on the interior of the unit which is in fair condition. The chin strap is complete and in fair condition. I will add additional photos soon. This piece appears to be 100% original. This a great piece and in good condition for it’s age. I will add more photos soon.
