This is a GORGEOUS, LARGE SIZE Antique 27-inch 154 Kestner Doll available at a reasonable price!! She has beautiful sky-blue sleepy eyes. Her complexion is creamy with the lovilest hint of peach in her cheeks and rosy lips. The doll’s strawberry blonde wig compliments her complexion and eyes brearhtakingly. See the “condition section” for a full description of issues with her body, but her bisque head is perfect with eyes working fine. Her kidskin and muslin body has been patched in places as previously described, and is very stable, with no leaks. Her hands/forearms are vintage replacements and match up very well with the bisque of her head. She is dressed in a billowy confection of a dress which appears to be made of nylon or rayon of some sort, etched with lots of filmy lace along the bodice, hem, collar, and cuffs of the puff sleeves. It ties with a huge puffy bow in the back. Underneath, the doll wears lacey tights in white, fancy pantalettes, and a full slip with white leather shoes. (I always put a dollop of glue in the bottom to keep the shoes on her feet while in storage) The ensemble is wrapped up with a muffie-made lace-lined bonnet trimmed with flowers, leaves, and pips.
