DARLING ANTIQUE PARIAN DOLL by C. Countess Dagmar – Circa: 1860’s. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Don’t you love the front curls? And the elaborate hairdo? This wonderful parian doll is 16 inches tall. She was made by C. Of Germany in the 1860’s. For reference see page # 62 of “Identifying German Parian Dolls” by Mary Gorham Krombholz. She wears lace trimmed pantaloons; lace trimmed under-skirt; and a lace trimmed brown print dress – all of these vintage. I would say she has her original body. The bisque parts do not have any hairlines or chips as examined by a black light. She has a little kiln speck on her left cheek. She has a very slight right cheek rub. Her legs have painted green ties. Her facial painting is very nice. And check out those curls. She is a darling “Countess Dagmar”. From my home to yours. Don’t forget to add me on as a favorite. It’s that easy. The item “DARLING ANTIQUE PARIAN DOLL IN BROWN PRINT DRESS by C. F. KLING & CO” is in sale since Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
