The base is heavy and gives the lamp the stability it needs. Beautiful minimalistic Bauhaus design. Great eye-catcher on any desk or table. The perfect addition to complete your mid-century look! The lamp needs 2 regular sized light bulbs. Light bulbs not included. Diameter of base 8.5. Diameter of shade 16.5. Length of cable 57. The lamp is in great vintage condition but please expect age-appropriate signs of wear, this is an original item from the 70s, not a reproduction. The chrome is in excellent condition, no rust. The lampshade has some paint chips, see picture collage. The chrome rod cylinder on top of the shade has a small bent, please see picture collage. The black paint has a couple of discolorations. The lamp has a german plug. Adapters to US plugs are readily available, not included.
