This is a very rare an old lot of Tinsel and Mercury Glass Ornaments created by Wilmsen. Created somewhere in late 1800’s, early 1900’s. I do have other ornaments from the late 1800’s that were also in this lot that are listed in separate listings in my store if you’d like to look. I would like to sell all of these together as a set. If this does not sell in a few months, then I will separate them and list for about 20%-30% more individually. There are 4 larger ornaments. And 7 smaller ones. The smaller ones are all the same size at about 2.5 (not including hook). The larges ones are 4.5″, 5″, 5.5″, and 6″ (again, not including the hooks). Please note that 2 of the 4 large larger ones have inside glass balls that are detached. See photos # 7 and #8. This will be such an super quick/easy fix. Just put another piece of wire inside and attach to top and bottom of round tinsel form. Also, one of the 4 larger ones has a partially detached center wire. (see photo # 11). The clover leaf large one does not have any of these issues. Nor do any of the 7 small ones. Below is a bit of info on the history of these rare ornaments. Wilmsen came to America in 1881… Becoming a Philadelphia ornament maker… He observed how popular the tinsel garland and tinsel rope ornaments imported from Germany were in America. He modified machines that led to the production of fine tinsel wire, etc. In 1887 Wilmsen acquired the rights to this pattern….. Held by a wire in the center of a wreath , heart, or other shape of tinsel rope. This type of ornament became very popular… Please read my feedback and you will see that you have no worries.
