SIMON & HALBIG 759. This beautiful doll was produced in Germany by the Simon & Halbig factory. Made for the French Market. She is especially rare given the mold 759 in the shoulder-head style, and large 25 size. Also unique is her pink cloth body, hair stuffed, sturdy and clean, with bisque lower arms. Her bisque head is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, hairlines or restorations. She has the look of the A mark doll with a little pointed nose and dimpled chin. The bisque is smooth and oily. She has multi stroke brows, dark brown glass eyes with finely painted upper and lower lashes as well as mohair upper lashes. Her pretty outlined lips are open showing four square cut upper teeth and the edges of lower teeth. Wearing a long blonde human hair wig, white cotton slip with lots of fine lace trim and matching panties, silk stockings, satin shoes with buckles and cobbled heals and a beautiful pink silk dress with matching bonnet.
