For your consideration is this wonderful working 1921 Junghans/Wurttenberg German made mantle clock. It has the German Movement stamped A-21clock with Junghans/Wurttenbergname and logo. There is a 4 bar chime and hammers and a big Gong with hammer. The clock chimes every 15 min and of course the big Gong on the hour. The chimes have a very soothing tone to them and the Gong has a very deep lasting tone after striking. The clocks beat is rhythmic, quiet, and keeps time very well. The big clean dial face is 7″ x 9″ and there are adjustments for time / On/Off Chimes. The Glass is beveled and free of chips/cracks. The Movement has been cleaned and oiled. I ran the clock on the repair stand for 10 days and in its cabinet for the for 10 more days. Chimes and bongs are on the mark. It keeps very good time and has no issues. The cabinet is made of Mahogany and has been refinished. The clock stands 18″ across the front x 13.5″ tall x 7 in depth. Not really an issue but I thought I would mention that the front door is a tad hard to open and close. Caution should be taken as to not damage anything when opening and closing. There is a small push button latch on the left side of the door. Key and Bob is included. Thank you for looking! The clock MUST be placed on a level area or leveling of the clock is required for the clock to run continuously, chime, and keep the correct time.
