Lg. RARE German Volkstedt Ballerina Lace Figurine 9 Circa 1900 OUTSTANDING COND
This stunning piece stands an impressive 9 inches tall and approximately 6.5 inches wide. She is wearing an all ruffled lace dress in pink and cream with a dark purple bodice with gold accents and tiny delicate applied porcelain flowers scattered throughout her dress. She has an off the shoulder STUNNING ruffled lace neckline on her dress. She has brown hair pulled up in a bun with a gold crown and little flowers on one side. She has PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. She is holding a BEAUTIFUL fan in one hand. The fan is painted with roses. She is standing on a base with several applied porcelain flowers. This figurine is made of solid porcelain and porcelain lace. This piece has the Volkstedt mark on the back of the base and also the letters KM incisedabove the mark. It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION!! I personally do not see any chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has so many beautiful ruffles that it is hard to see each one. PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision.
