This is a stunning early 17 inch Kestner on her straight wrist loose ball joint body. She has a gorgeous sweet pouty expression on her beautifully painted face. Her head has no damage or repair. She has stunning pale blue sleep eyes and wears a beautiful replaced dress, antique bonnet and beautiful mohair wig. Her bisque is pale and creamy and sets off her light threaded blue eyes perfectly. She has delicately feathered brows, long dainty lashes, and expertly shaded closed mouth. Her body has no damage but does have some paint touch ups that are nicely done and match the original paint. She is strung well and will stand freely and pose. Her thick wavy blonde replacement mohair wig brings out her pale coloring and light eyes beautifully. Her pink dropped waist dress fits her as if it was made for her and the sweet pink bonnet is the finishing touch. She wears antique under clothes and socks, and vintage shoes. She is incised on the back of her head VII and she has her original plaster pate. Minor issues to note- She has several pepper marks on her bisque. Done in the making and not uncommon. Much more visible in the magnified photos. Her beautiful blue eyes sleep nicely and it does look like the eyelids have been touched up. Touch up paint to body. She makes a stunning presentation and is priced to sell. The head is free of damage or repair, she has the minor issues described above.
