24.5 Simon and Halbig 1079 German Bisque Antique Doll in Cute Costume. 24.5″ Simon and Halbig 1079 German Bisque Antique Doll in Cute Costume This antique doll is a 24.5″ by Simon and Halbig, marked SH 1079 DEP. She doesn’t have any chips or cracks to her bisque head but someone did touch up a little paint on some of the flaking of paint around the rim of her head. This can actually be removed by the new home if you want but it is all beautifully covered by her wig and bonnet. She has blue set glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, brushstroke eyebrows, rosy cheeks, accented nostrils, and a beautiful quality blonde mohair wig. She is on a ball jointed composition body – the arms are slightly different color than the body but it isn’t noticeable with the clothing. I just love her colorful outfit that includes a full set of undergarments and socks and shoes. This doll is a lovely and sweet girl from a smoke-free environment. 1910 We have not undressed this sweet girl. She is waring her original dress that is melting.
