Listing is a stunning doll – 24 tall antique German bisque head doll, incised. K (David Star) R. Made by Simon & Halbig and Kammer Reinhardt, ca. She has sleep brown glass eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, pretty multi-stroked eyebrows, red nostril dots and a beautifully painted and accented open mouth with four upper teeth. Her bisque face has beautiful color, nicely blended rose petal blush cheeks. Nice nose with red accents at her nostrils, open mouth showing 4 teeth. She has pierced ears with cute, tiny earrings. Her bisque head is in good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines, or any damages could be found. There is a factory line behind her right ear. It happened very often to bisque dolls, considered acceptable flaw, does not detract. Her sleep eyes open and close smoothly. Eyelids are in good condition. Her wig is human hair, made in France. Her wood/composition body still has original paint and finish, excellent condition for the age. She is wearing an embroidered linen dress, velvet jacket and matching bonnet.
