Antique German Bisque Character Heubach Doll 17 Near Mint. Beautiful doll in near mint condition. The head is without cracks or hairlines. No rubs on face or hair. Deeply sculpted curls and beautiful quality pale bisque with superb modeling of features. There is a light spot of time grime and one tiny dark speckle on forehead. I have not tried to clean. Marked on the back neck 5 over Germany with a tiny green ink stamp which is too small to read. The Jointed composition and wood German body is equally excellent, with original shiny finish, and retaining red lines between fingers and toes. A gorgeous example of this mold.
