Black doll, dressed as a cute old woman, made by German firm Armand Marseille, 1885-on. She stands 14 tall and has no chips, cracks or hairlines on her bisque socket head. Her bisque coloring is a little rubbed on her right side by her cheek bone, barely noticeable but wanted to mention. Her composition ebony black painted body has age related wear with the original stringing very loose. At some point she needs restrung, but will pose nicely on a stand… Please look at photos. She has the long stick legs commonly seen on Armand Marseille. Rich amber spiral threaded brown glass eyes set in place and original antique black mohair wig w/ some grey coloring throughout Original painted coral lip color that has some fading/rubs. Dressed in an antique skirt, blouse, apron, red shoes and beautiful turban attached to wig. Clothing is old and I did not want to undress her risk tearing. Skirt has one small tear in the back.
