We are offering this. Antique Kestner 171 Blonde Bisque 31 Jointed body Doll w/ Dress Germany c1886. Gorgeous 31 tall antique German. Bisque head doll from Kestner (JDK). Beautiful doll with Blonde hair and. Blue glass eyes (eyes do not close). With painted lower lashes. Comes wearing a long antique lace dress, slip and bloomers. She has stockinged feet but no shoes. (not sure what items are original to doll maybe all). The red ribbon I believe has been added on her dress and hair. (light stain to dress from red ribbon on back neck of dress). Open mouth with 4 teeth showing. She is marked on back of head with GERMANY 171 16½. Sturdy ball-joint body and is poseable/moveable. Bisque head condition good with no cracks noted. The hairline at the back of the head is an uneven line. It does not show when her hair is down, just when you lift it. It has been stitched (applied in an uneven line) (see photo). Fingers and toes intact. Shows normal wear for age and usage to body. From the estate of a Lady who loved and cared for her dolls. This lovely doll she named Gwendoline.
