(Early German Wood/Biedermeier Era Doll)
Beautiful Portrait figure/doll of a woman/very early wooden carved German Biedermeier Era ca. She stands 46cm (18,11 inches) tall. Condition:Generally in good condition/No wood cracks/chips or other damages on the face/few faint paint loss/. Torso is made of Terracotta/rest of the body parts are combination of Hemp and wood/. The construction is a bit primitive. A master class of wood carving figure/every details in her face shows incredible unique and authentic Portrait of a woman/. Phenomenal/Her cheeks are painted in rosy colors/perfect carved intaglio painted eyes/nose and closed mouth/. Carved bonnet in cream color/Hands and fingers are carved though/wooden feet feat. She is wearing her traditional costume and undergarments/. Ever since she has been sitting in my collection I never taken off the costume and seems never been taken it off before.
