This doll is not very common, she is german and the head is incised 630 11. Period is 1880’s and the firm is Alt, Beck and Gottschalck with the face of certain Simon & Halbig dolls. She stands 18 1/2 inches tall (47 cm) and the bisque is free of hairline or restoration. She has a closed mouth and the blue paperweight eyes (bulbous). The body with straight wrists is original and in very good condition (not perfect), the body is very heavy (german composition), 2 fingers were restored and there is some paint touch on the left hand, 2 other small repairs at the upper part of the left leg and near the knee of the right leg. These repairs are common and it is minor. The quality of the bisque is good but you can see that there is no paint at the upper part of the head, in the back, it is normal, the heads were made like that. About the clothes (everything is antique) : 3 original and very beautiful under garments, antique socks, the leather shoes (good used condition) from the same period of the doll are maybe original.
