Large Antique German Early Pouty Kestner All bisque Doll, 7 1/2
Here is another lovely Kestner all bisque pouty doll with swivel neck and pegged joints. She measures 7 1/2 tall and has blue paperweight eyes and 5-strap bootines. She wears a messy blond wig but a very cute one-piece underwear trimmed in lace. Cotton dress has tiny tucks all across the bodice and is trimmed with tiny ric-rac. She has some issues–one boot was broken and reglued, and it looks like a repair was made to her neck because the paint is somewhat shiny and her head doesn’t fit perfectly into her torso. Right hand also has the somewhat shiny paint and may have been repaired, excellent job.
