19 Antique German Simon & Halbig 1079 Doll DEP. This beautiful doll is in need of some TLC but, even as is, she displays very well. She measures approximately 19 tall. Her bisque head is without cracks or chips. Her head is the prettiest feature of her as she has her original blue swirl glass eyes, open mouth with four glossy teeth showing, high color cheeks, dimpled chin, perfect painted lashes/brows, and pierced ears. She is marked on the back of her head S & H 1079 Dep Germany 8. She does have a weight for sleep eyes but, at some time they covered on the inside for stationary eyes. Her composition ball-jointed body needs repair. Please see the photos. She is missing one finger on her right hand. The neck opening has a section detaching. Her legs are very loose and one foot has an old repair. From the photos, you can see she has been loved and shows signs of wear. Her blonde wig is long and pretty. She is wearing a handmade outfit that consists of a peach floral print dress with a gorgeous needlework collar, belt, and gold buttons down the front. She wears a long slip, pantaloons, knee-length socks, and black shoes. One shoe is missing a heel and shows wear on the bottom. This beauty will display nicely in your doll collection as is or a great restoration project doll. Please view all the photos provided as they are a large part of the description.
