Lovely Antique German Bisque Simon & Halbig 19 Doll no. 1249 Santa Mold
Lovely antique German bisque doll made by Simon & Halbig, Santa mold no. She measures 19 tall without her wig on. She has such a pretty face, with beautiful blue sleep eyes and hand painted features. Her body appears completely original and, with the exception of a repaired finger on her left hand, and expected scuffs and marks, is in overall good condition. Her head shows no chips, repairs, or cracks. Her blonde wig is a modern replacement. She comes dressed in a white cotton dress trimmed with lace and modern satin ribbon, all of the underclothes are matching, although some appear to have been altered to fit her so they are most likely not original, pretty as they are on her. Her stockings are modern, her shoes are authentic but have modern blue satin ties. Overall her clothes are in good condition, there are some rust stains on the underclothes, and a few snaps could use replacing, her left shoe is missing the cardboard sole.
