22 Inch ANTIQUE GERMAN PARIAN DOLL. Named – EMPRESS AUGUSTA – ca: 1860 TO 1870’s. Made By ALT, BECK, & GOTTSCHALK. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. This is an outstanding antique German Parian doll. She is 22 inches tall. Page 46 of’Identifying German Parian Dolls’ by Mary Gorham Krombholz. This Empress Augusta has a super antique body. Her head is in mint condition with no hairlines, cracks, or repainting as examined by a black light. Please check the deep molding of the hair. Her facial coloring is wonderful and was done by a master artist. She wears a wonderful vintage outfit. She is great and ready to display in any doll collection and would be a lovely addition.
