Offered is this lovely 27 antique German Bisque Head Walkure Doll. She has a beautiful bisque socket head without damage, restorations or hairlines. Original huge blue glass sleep eyes are surrounded by lots of lush finely painted eyelashes. Multi-stroke eyebrows frame her eyes. Open mouth with four upper teeth. Pierced ears with antique glass earrings. Small cheek rub on her left cheek. Head is marked on the back very faintly “Walkure” with “Germany” underneath that. Kley and Hahn produced the Walkure doll with heads made by others. This is a quality head and has the look of a Simon Halbig or Kestner. She has a very long antique human hair wig. Her composition body is fully jointed and retains the original finish. There is age wear as is typical with these antique bodies with darkened areas on her hands. Stringing is a tad loose, but she can display in a stand well. The bottom of her left foot is missing. She is dressed in a lovely ensemble, with a nice artisan made vintage dress and a lovely antique cape with lots of eyelet trim. There is a small tear in the front/side. Antique slip and chemise.
